Yes, my kids like the Angry Birds app on the iPhone and iPad, but their play is limited, and "game night" in our house does not include electronic games.
We recently purchased some Angry Bird games for the boys, but they had been put away, so after some particularly good behavior, the boys were treated with surprises!
Emory was given Angry Birds Bird Toss! Basically a bean-bag toss game, and what could be more fun for a two year old than throwing!
Elliott received Angry Birds Knock On Wood. You build the castle displayed on the card you choose, and use the slingshot to catapult the birds through the air to knock the pigs down, just like on the apps. Elliott is getting to the point where he likes to follow picture directions to make designs (think Lincoln Logs or Duplo blocks), and he also enjoys building his own designs, so this game is even perfect for him to play on his own during quiet time.
Needless to say, we had birds flying across our house all night!
Some other Angry Bird fun we've had recently includes Match the Coins and Greater Than/Less Than from the Angry Birds Kindergarten Printables pack at 1+1+1=1.
I decided to use fake money, mostly because Elliott found it and wanted to play with it, and I had just seen this printable online, so it worked out.
Emory also joined in the money fun. He was "borrowing" it to refill Hamm, and getting some fine motor skills work in at the same time.
