It's starting to look a lot like Christmas

Last week we spent an entire evening decorating the Christmas tree.  Well, we had it up before Thanksgiving, but just didn't get around to decorating it until we got home.  When it was time to decorate, I realized some things were missing...(I think a tote got misplaced in the craziness of the move)...but that didn't  matter.

We turned on the Christmas music, and got to work.  I put new hooks on the ornaments while the boys found the perfect spot for each one.  Hulk preferred to take all bulbs, and place them all in one spot.  Typical 3 year old behavior I suppose.  Iron Man loved hearing the story behind each ornament, of course their "first Christmas" ornaments being their favorites.

Daddy and I love sharing the stories of their first Christmas.  Iron Man is a December baby, so he was only three weeks old and slept peacefully through the two days of festivities.  I found out I was pregnant with Hulk the week before Christmas, so we made a Big Brother shirt to share our news with the families at Christmas.  As you may be able to tell from the pictures, we are in the final stretch with baby number three.  Next year, we will have a little girl adding joy to these memories.

Be sure to check out Leah's Oh Christmas Tree party to share your memories and read about the memories that others hold close to their heart.

  2. How precious!! My three year loved to help this year and though I couldn't be the perfectionist that I usually am, I love how the tree reflects all of us. :) Thanks for sharing and linking up!!
