Field Trips

We love to take field trips!  They offer such a visual and hands-on way to learn, and they are a fun break from our regular homeschooling adventures.  In Free and Frugal Field Trip Ideas I shared some ideas for general everyday field trip ideas to spruce up your homeschooling, but we also like to look for more unique opportunities as well.  Here are a few of the field trips I've shared in the past.  Although I've forgotten my camera on a few of our funner field trips, like Carter Caves!  Oh well  I've grouped them by "theme" and they are in no particular order within each group.  The ones without a (state) listed are more general and can be probably be found everywhere.

Also, be sure to check out the Apologia Field Trip Journal if you're interested in a fun way to record your outings!
