I'm a southern girl, currently living in the middle of nowhere. I love sweet tea, Reese cups and frugal shopping.
One day while I was visiting my cousin's church for the first time, I met a really good-looking guy with piercing blue eyes. Later, my cousin pointed out a voice in the choir and said "That's the pastor, your future father-in-law." She called it. About a year later, that voice was performing a wedding ceremony for me and his son. We've been married 8 years now. He's my best friend, a hard worker, a dedicated father and an amazing husband. I still think he's really handsome.
We have three amazing kids that we homeschool.

My education and background are in business and banking, but I left my job to be a stay at home mom when my oldest was 4. I ramble and talk a lot, so I started this blog as a journal of sorts. I blog about homeschooling, field trips, vacations, children's book, and whatever we get into as a family. I also write book and curriculum reviews. So that's me. My Life.
