Preschool Pumpkin Painting

Iron Man has been begging to carve pumpkins, but in an effort to wait closer to the end of the month, hubby brought home a couple of small pumpkins and told the boys they could paint them.  The boys picked red and blue paint and got to work.

Iron Man enjoyed mixing the paint to get purple, even though you can't see it in the pictures.

Hulk just enjoyed playing with paint, now that he's past the "tasting" everything stage.

We left the pumpkins to dry over night, before starting the next step.

Iron Man had noticed a package of pompoms and decided he didn't just want to paint them, he wanted to make a clown pumpkin.  So we went through the craft supplies and found what he wanted to use. Hulk wanted everything big brother chose, but I did encourage him to pick his own colors.  I helped with the hot glue gun, and this was the end result.

Iron Man's pumpkin, named CLOWN.  I was told to imagine his arms are holding balloons.

This was Hulk's finished creation.

Generally, I'm not a huge fan of crafts, but I consider these to be seasonal decorations.  ;-)
