LEGO Love Week 9: Preschool Math with LEGO

Last week I talked about fun ways to teach the alphabet with LEGO, so this week I thought I would cover preschool math!  Remember, my boys are 4 and 7, so we have done a lot of counting, sorting, matching and patterning with LEGO over the last few years.  These are all important skills for understanding mathematics, but the preschool years should be informal and fun.  I try to only introduce structured activities when we need some focused time, and it turns into an extension of our play.
